You can see the incline railway bed through the trees, the railway along with the third summit house was sold for scrap in the early forties, the road is now used by WGGB for it's transmitters on top of the mountain.

I talked to Bill Finn today and said it would be nice if all of us got together for a nice hike up the mountain,
i'll talk to Glenn and Brian about setting a date,
we'll be in touch.
A big group would be fun. Make it a Sunday afternoon so I can bring along a friend or two.

I just saw somrthing on the news concerning a false alarm up there for a downed hang glider.
